meet carly!

Born in New Canaan, CT and raised in Atlanta, GA as the youngest of nine children, Carly grew up in admiration of her older siblings: her built-in role models! She found her voice by singing along to whatever music her sisters put on (most frequently, “Umbrella” by Rihanna and “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele). Little Carly loved the spotlight, cartwheeling just about anywhere she went. Her love of music and performance grew quickly once she discovered how it set her apart from her big, crazy family, and musical theatre came to fuel her like nothing else. Stepping into stories gave voice to the feelings she couldn’t yet articulate herself. Years spent at dance and voice studios in solidified her desire to follow through with musical theatre in college. 

Currently, she’s entering her third year at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, planning to spend all four years in the New Studio on Broadway. In addition, she is pursuing a double minor in psychology and dramaturgy. Outside of school, you can find Carly cooking, reading, watercolor painting, or practicing yoga!
